Our Methodology
How Heirpath Programmes Are Structured
Every Heirpath offering starts with a written scope letter, proceeds through structured reading or operational sessions, and concludes with a defined deliverable or written summary. No programme extends into legal or financial territory. Pacing varies by programme — the reading course is self-directed, the consulting engagement is appointment-based, and the annual bundle is spread across twelve months by design.
Every engagement begins with a written letter stating exactly what is and is not included, and at what price.
Sessions and materials are sequenced to build understanding gradually — from orientation to applied familiarity.
Each programme concludes with something you can keep — a self-assessment, a reference document, or a curated reading archive.
Programme 01
Estate Concept Reading Course
A reading course exploring how estate concepts are typically described in published material — what kinds of records families keep, how households around the world have approached the practice of organising inherited goods and family writings, and how to read general-information material on these topics. The course is conceptual and educational. It is not advice and is not a substitute for engaging the appropriate regulated professional.
- Introduction to how estate terms appear in published literature
- Overview of household record types described in general sources
- Reading strategy guide for public-information material
- Self-paced — typically 4–8 weeks at 1–2 hours per week

Programme 02
Family Record-Keeping Operational Consulting
A small consulting engagement for families who want help designing their own internal record-keeping system — how to lay out folders, how to label items, what kind of annual review habit suits the household. The engagement is procedural and operational only. It does not produce content that would be the work of a regulated professional.
- Household filing structure designed to your actual documents
- Naming conventions and labelling system
- Annual review checklist tailored to your household
- Written Folder-System Reference Document at engagement end
How it works
Initial conversation to understand your current household filing situation
Scope letter issued covering exactly what the engagement will and will not include
2–3 working sessions (in-person at our Lumphini office or online) to design your system
Written Folder-System Reference Document delivered at engagement close
